By car, bus, train or airplane – no matter how you are going to get to our hotel, the journey is easy and fast in summer and during the winter months! The Brixental is surrounded by 3 airports and only 20 – 30 driving minutes away from the motorway exits Kufstein and Wörgl. You won’t find any alley blockades, mountain passes or serpentine, alpine roads on your way to our hotel!

Coming from Germany:
Motorway cross Munich South (junction for all directions)
A8 towards Salzburg, Nürnberg, Munich
Follow the A8 for approx. 56 km
Change onto the motorway cross (56) Inntal/101 from the A8 onto the A93 towards Innsbruck, Kufstein, Brenner
Follow the A93 for approx. 25 km
You reach Austria! Change from the A93 onto the A12
Leave the A12 at the junction (17) Wörgl Ost towards St. Johann, Tyrol, Brixental, Wörgl Ost and drive towards the Lofererstrasse (B171)
Follow the street for approx. 4 km
Turn right onto the Brixental federal road and follow the street – after approx. 10 minutes you reach Westendorf, after 15 minutes Brixen im Thale and after 20 minutes Kirchberg, Tyrol
Drive towards the city centre of Kirchberg and take the 2nd exit at the roundabout towards Aschau
After approx. 300 metres turn right towards the Hotel Metzgerwirt, the church and the bathing lake
Follow the street and turn right at the Hotel Bräu towards the bathing lake
Follow the street – after approx. 200 metres you reach the Activ Sunny Hotel Sonne (left hand side)

From Kufstein Süd (toll free) to Kirchberg!

Exit the motorway at Kufstein Süd
Federal road 178 (before: B312) Eiberg
Federal road 178 (before: B312) towards St. Johann, Tyrol
Federal Road 161 Paß-Thurn to Going, turn right at the Stanglwirt towards Reith at Kitzbühel
Go on until the crossing at the Brixental federal road, turn right – after approx. 5 minutes you reach Kirchberg, Tyrol
Drive towards the city centre of Kirchberg and take the 2nd exit at the roundabout towards Aschau
After approx. 300 metres turn right towards the Hotel Metzgerwirt, the church and the bathing lake
Follow the street and turn right at the Hotel Bräu towards the bathing lake
Follow the street – after approx. 200 metres you reach the Activ Sunny Hotel Sonne (left hand side)
Coming from Italy:
Brenner motorway until Innsbruck
At Innsbruck go on via the A12 towards Salzburg, Germany
Leave the A12 at the junction (17) Wörgl Ost towards St. Johann, Tyrol, Brixental, Wörgl Ost and drive towards the Lofererstrasse (B171)
Follow the street for approx. 4 km

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
On the Austrian motorways you must pay a road tax (Autobahn-Vignette). You can purchase this vignette at any gas station and tobacconist within Austria
In Austria you must turn your car headlights on during the day!
A (car) safety vest has to be carried with you at all times. If you stop your car on a motorway you must wear the safety vest outside your car at all times!
